First of all another thank you for letting me using this service. I'm very thankful that you offer this kind of hosting.

I only see free available Gigabites, no adds, no premium stuff whatsoever which suggest you get some money to get this thing up.
Thanks for the kindness, but there's nothing in it for me apart from a nice selection of mixes on tap. I cover the costs to offer something which I thought was missing from the internet - an easy way to upload and share mixes.
I'm not really into aggressive advertising smothering the site so I don't do it. With regards premium accounts, that's just another barrier to ease of use so I haven't gone down that route either.
If you'd like to help out with costs there's a donate button on every mix page (all of which goes towards hosting costs).
I bet you don't get much donations? I'm running the Twoism messageboard and I added a donation button this year. All I got so far is 1 donation and that is way less than I expected. The place has quite a few posters and lurkers but they all take it for granted. Well, I guess that's the internet.
Yeah you're right about the donations. So far there haven't been any! I think people are just used to getting stuff for free from sites that can afford it through advertising/sponsorship etc. Plus why pay for something when you don't have to?
Still, it's not about the money, and as long as I can afford to run this place it'll stay open :)
